By accessing this website or purchasing services from Build With Mel (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. ServicesBuild With Mel provides strategic brand management, business consulting, marketing strategy, fractional CMO services, and related advisory and management services (“Services”). All services are customized and delivered based on the scope agreed upon with each client.
2. Payment TermsAll fees are due in advance unless otherwise stated in writing.
• One-time services may require a deposit
• Retainers are billed monthly
• Payments are processed securely through third-party payment processors
Failure to submit payment may result in delayed or paused services.
3. Deposit PolicyDeposits are required to secure project start dates and reserve production capacity.
• All deposits are non-refundable
• Deposits are applied toward the total project balance
• Work does not begin until the deposit is received
4. Refund PolicyDue to the nature of strategic, consulting, and management services:
All sales are final. No refunds are issued.
This includes, but is not limited to:
• Deposits
• Monthly retainers
• Strategy sessions
• Consulting services
• Digital or written deliverables
5. Retainers & Auto-RenewalMonthly retainers are billed on a recurring basis.
• Retainers automatically renew each month
• Billing occurs using the payment method on file
• Retainer fees are non-refundable once billed
Clients are responsible for maintaining valid payment information.
6. Cancellation Policy (Retainers)Clients may cancel a monthly retainer with written notice.
• A minimum of 30 days’ written notice is required
• Cancellation requests must be sent via email to:

• Services continue through the final paid billing period
• No partial refunds are issued for unused time
7. Scope of WorkServices are limited to the scope outlined in the client’s agreement.
• Unused hours do not roll over unless stated in writing
• Additional services require a new agreement or invoice
• Paid advertising spend, software fees, and third-party services are not included unless specified
8. No GuaranteesBuild With Mel provides strategic guidance and professional services. We do not guarantee specific results, revenue, or performance outcomes. Business results depend on factors beyond our control.
9. Intellectual PropertyUnless otherwise agreed in writing:
• Clients retain ownership of their original content
• Build With Mel retains ownership of proprietary frameworks, methods, and processes
• Work may be displayed in portfolios or case studies unless confidentiality is agreed upon
10. Limitation of LiabilityTo the maximum extent permitted by law, Build With Mel is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website.
11. Governing LawThese Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
